MULTI-SENSORY WORKSHOPS

FOR EVERY BODY

Based around the desire to bridge connections between people regardless of their positionality, these artistic workshops center the self and the desire to navigate feeling. Helping better understanding ourselves, each other and in turn our environments.

Multi sensory approaches are used throughout these workshops, pushing participatory boundaries by not relying on sight alone for creation. These approaches are important in an ever growing instantaneous world where image seems paramount, especially when thinking about the visual artists and the arts. So what else are you capable of when not relying on your sight?

If safer spaces can only really be created with the intention of understanding the most marginalised within any society, then where are those spaces that can invite anyone? And where are those workshops who welcome everyone? Lived experiences are often encouraged to be shared and centered in these spaces.

As a practitioner deeply committed to understanding social equity and justice better, forever growing and meeting new people, it is a central need for me to help create more engaging spaces which welcome the other and invite participation no matter an individuals abilities.

No previous artistic experience is needed in my workshops, although more specialised workshops can be catered for on request.
